We’re big fans of Waylon. One of us more than the other, but that’s only because that love of Waylon goes way, way, way back. Waylon was born on June 15, 1937. We got the show started with a little tribute to Waylon and then later played a couple songs that Waylon popularized and were also performed by Linda Ronstadt (Only Mama That’ll Walk The Line) and Nashville West (Mental Revenge). Dave Gleason wrote his song “Blue Side of The World” as a tribute to the ’60s era Waylon Jennings.
