A Smelley old time

Another fun show is in the bag.  To get listeners in Point Reyes Station and beyond ready for tomorrow night’s Red Meat show at the Old Western Saloon, we spoke with Smelley Kelley from Red Meat on the phone.  Smelley has guaranteed that the show with be raunchy and that beard rides may be on the docket.  C’mon down to the Western Friday night Feb. 17 and see Smelley with his full set of whiskers as well as the rest of the great folks in Red Meat perform at our own little honky tonk.

Here’s Red Meat when they last performed at The Old Western Saloon.

2012 is 1/12 over

January is gone!  Wow, that went fast.  Here in West Marin, winter has been mild, to say the least.  However, we are still looking forward to every other Thursday and Bakersfield & Beyond.  This week, Mike was solo as Amanda was out.  A solo show is fun, but not nearly as a show with your co-pilot.  Tried to pull together some Bakersfield music from new and old and blend ‘er all together.  Hope you enjoyed the show.  For the next two weeks, the archive of tonight’s show will be available for streaming on KWMR and this link:  Bakersfield & Beyond KWMR.
