Show #150 – Merle Haggard

April 6, 1937 is Merle Haggard’s birthday and tonight’s show was dedicated to Merle and the many years he has spent letting us listen to his music.  We played a bunch of Merle.  We played a bunch of folks who performed Merle’s songs.  And we played some music by Merle’s biggest influences:  Lefty Frizzell, Bob Wills, and Jimmie Rodgers.  And we played Merle singing songs written by his heroes.
