Show #243 – Lewis Tally and The Tallywhackers

Ant from “Off the Cuff” had a cool album that he loaned to the “Bakersfield and Beyond” team. The show was built around that and spinning vinyl from a pretty big collection of Bakersfield Sound stuff that we haul up to Studio A when we do the show.

Maybe the song that stuck the most in the craw was “Little Arrows” by Skeeter Davis. What a strange song, haunting and gives cupid a whole new twist.
