New Year Reflection

In the past, we have each compiled a “Best Of” the previous year song selection list.  As we enter the fifth year of Bakersfield & Beyond, we realize that each show is a “best of” the music we associate with the Bakersfield Sound or artists influenced by the Bakersfiled Sound.  With that in mind, we each picked songs for different reasons.  Amanda’s list was populated with some new music and some music she picked up in Nashville after she visited the “Bakersfield Sound Exhibit” at the Country Music Hall of Fame.  Mike’s list was made of of songs and artists who exemplify the artists that we love to play on the show.  Enjoy and best wishes to all in the new year!
