Bakersfield Country Music Awards This Weekend!

That’s right.  The Bakersfield Country Music Awards are this weekend, July 7 and 8.  We spoke with Bakersfield’s Terry Keplinger, who is putting on the awards show this weekend.  It sure sounds like a lot of fun.  We were honored to receive complimentary passes to the event.  However, our schedules being what they are will have to put off making this event until the future.  If you are in Bakersfield, make sure you put it on your to do list for the weekend.  It sure sounds like it’s going to be a fun event on both days.

In additional news and what’s coming categories, Rancho Nicasio will host a concert on the lawn featuring Deke Dickerson, Red Meat, and the B-Stars on Sunday July 15.  That is certain to be a not to be missed event.  Great music, excellent bar-b-que, and an outstanding time on the lawn in Nicasio.

And a special “Act Naturally” happy birthday wish goes out to Ringo Starr who is celebrating his birthday on July 7.
