Spring into daylight savings with vinyl!

Spring is almost here.  Daylight savings has begun.  Bakersfield & Beyond got into the spirit with an all vinyl show.  Well, an exception of two, but otherwise, all vinyl.  It really is fun cuing up the black 12″ discs.  Setting the needle just so.  Working the faders between the two turntables.  One thing’s for sure, there’s not a lot of long songs on old vinyl.  The short songs meant you all got to listen to a bunch of songs and we were hopping getting the next selection figured out and cued up.  Hope you enjoyed the show.

Did Dolly and Porter call each other and say “wear purple?”

Here’s a great live performance of “Six Pack To Go” by Hank Thompson:  http://youtu.be/3XoqYgQ-MLM
