A little Bakersfield, a little Beyond

After a long time away, our good buddy Dr. BLT called in tonight from Bakersfield.  We were pleased to know all is well in Bakersfield.  We decided to cite creative license and play on the “beyond” side of Bakersfield.  In the first hour of the show, we came up with a couple of sets of music.  The first one was based on a higher being image from the song title or in the lyrics.  For the second set, who doesn’t want to be a cowboy?  We found a bunch of “cowboy” songs that fit the bill nicely.  Thanks to everyone for listening.

There’s several versions of “God’s Gonna Cut You Down” on YouTube.  This was the only one I watched all the way through because it was pretty damn cool.
