July 7 playlist – bunch of vinyl

Post show wind down.  Fun show.  We finally connected with FattKatt from FattKatt & The Von Zippers.  We’ve been digging their album “That Bakerbilly Sound” for quite a while.  A really nice mix of Rock-a-billy and West Coast country.  FattKatt, like our buddy, Dr. BLT, called us from Buck Owens’ Crystal Palace where a benefit for long-time fiddle player, Oscar Whittington was going on.  Oscar lost all of his worldly possessions, except for his fiddle , to a fire recently.  We wish Oscar the best of luck moving forward.

  1. It was quite a show, and, judging by this play list, I also missed a great radio show. I look forward to another episode of Bakersfield and Beyond.
