You’ll hear this show again

The third show of 2011 is in the bag.  Bakersfield & Beyond will not be live during the February 17 show.  Instead, you’ll hear a rebroadcast of this show.  Being a full-time radio station, there are times when, in order to do programmer trainings, we need to somewhat automate the programming and use the studio for trainings.  February 17 happens to be one of those training sessions.  So, hope you liked this show cuz yer gonna hear it again on the 17th!

Some really neat things that have happened include Wanda Jackson releasing a brand new album produced by Jack White formerly of the White Stripes and currently of The Raconteurs and other various projects.  We can’t wait to get our hands on a copy of the new album.  Hopefully, we’ll have it to play for the next live show.  Here are some clips of Wanda that have been circulation on YouTube and the playlist from tonight.  Here’s the link to the interview we did with Wanda a while back.  Enjoy!
