The Waybacks and playlist for tonight’s show

We had a good conversation with James Nash, front man for The Waybacks on the show tonight.  James filled us in on upcoming Waybacks shows and we talked fitness and dogs on tour.  If anyone has a chance to catch their show, do it.  They’ve got a great sound blending an eclectic mix of styles.  Some of their best tunes are ones that tell a story.  Check ’em out!  And make sure you check out the Waybacks performing the entire Led Zeppelin II album at Merle Fest 2008 on youtube down below – really awesome stuff!

We also played the winning entry in Dr. BLT’s “Next Buck Owens” contest submitted by Lloyd McGarrity, formerly of Bakersfield, CA.  Lloyd did a great job to earn the title for 2010.  Thanks Dr. BLT and Lloyd!

Alrighty, here’s the playlist and some youtube clips to check out.  We’ll be back on track with our shows next week.  Be sure to check it out Thanksgiving evening when Ian Jones brings his guitar into the studio and performs some live music!
