Recap of 11-12 show and playlist

Almost forgot to post this to the blog.  Another fun show in the bag.  We aired our interview with Exene Cervenka and played a cut off her new solo album, Somewhere Gone.  We also played some Knitters tunes that featured her voice.  I also aired the interview last week when I covered Shorty’s Bunkhouse on KWMR since her San Francisco concert was on Nov. 8 and the station had a pair of tickets for that show.  Ty, the instigator who got Amanda and I on the Bakersfield Sound track, called in to snag the tickets.  Ty also called in to our show to give us the low-down on what he said was a great show.  He also said the opening act, Zander Schloss, was a great surprise.  Ty brought over a disc of Zander Schloss to my shop yesterday – great stuff that we’ll have to give a play on an upcoming show.

Amanda has the Exene interview downloaded and we’ll post it here soon so folks can check it out.
